Four men drowned in Moldova’s lakes on June 26. Two of the drownings occurred in Chisinau, IPN reports, quoting the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service.

Employees of the rescue station of the Park “La Izvor” recovered the body of a man in his 60s from the water. In another park of Chisinau, “Valea Morilor”, the body of a 35-year-old man was found also by employees of the rescue station.

Also, two men aged 25 and 37 died when swimming in lakes in Galesti village of Straseni district and in Cotiujenii Mari village of Soldanesti district.

As many as 42 people, including eight minors, drowned in Moldova so far this year.
