Forty-three residents of Chisinau were taken to the hospital with pandemic-flu like symptoms on Friday and last night, Liviu Vovc, the director of the Chisinau Emergency Assistance Station, has told Info-Prim Neo. The persons were admitted to the Infectious Diseases Hospital “Toma Ciorba”, the municipal hospital No.4, the municipal children’s hospital No.1 and the Health Ministry’s hospital. Liviu Vovc said the number of persons suffering from acute viral infections is also very high. The ambulance doctors provided assistance to 126 adults and 145 children. During the last day, the ambulance doctors dealt with 940 calls.
