Forty-five jewelry items, believed to be of gold, have been found in the luggage of a woman flying to Bucharest from the Chisinau Airport.
According to the Border Police, the woman, 57, had failed to declare the valuables. The find was seized and could be confiscated, while the woman will face administrative charges.
The Moldovan law allows individuals to take in or out of the country up to five jewelry items or gems without declaring them.
