The Governor of Gagauzia Mihail Formuzal had a meeting with Russia’s special representative for the Transnistrian settlement Dmitry Rogozin in Moscow. The information was published by the Russian official on his Twitter page, IPN reports.
Dmitry Rogozin didn’t give details concerning his meeting with Mihail Formuzal. However, IPN’s reporter managed to contact Formuzal, who said that they discussed the prospects of developing the relations between Gagauzia and Russia, including for supporting the region’s education sphere. Asked if they conferred on the ban imposed by Russia on the imports of Moldovan wine, Formuzal said he prefers to refrain from giving details before the appearance of definite results.
The Governor said he is paying a working visit to Russia on October 17-18.
