Former state institution employees to receive redundancy payments

The executive allocated 8.9 million lei from the state budget for paying indemnities to the employees of the Ministry of Defense, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Security and Information Service who were made redundant, Info-Prim Neo reports.
350,000 lei of this sum will be directed to the National Agency for Competition Protection for co-financing the EU-funded Twinning Project “Support to Implementation and Enforcement of Competition and State Aid Policy”.
The costs will be covered from the 2011 state budget spending approved for reforming the central public administration.
