Former partner of Guzun family makes accusations against founders of lyceum

Adrian Balan, a former partner of the Guzun family that founded the Lyceum “Da Vinci”, said the education institution is used by the former partners as an instrument of intimidation through the agency of the legal system and of camouflaging of criminal schemes. He invoked evidently illegal court decisions, the complicity of the law enforcement agencies and threats with use of violence and liquidation.

“I will refer here to offenders Guzun Efrosinia and Guzun Valeriu, the founders and directors of the Lyceum “Da Vinci” and to state institutions that were subdued by these offenders […] Two offenders, through the agency of clients of the Lyceum “Da Vinci”, reached the situation when they can control everything that is happening in state institutions,” Adrian Balan stated in a news conference at IPN.

The former partner accuses the couple of gross violations. “In fact, things are plain. There is a situation that is normally solved by a five-minute discussion between people who built from zero and without money what today is known as “Da Vinci”, or by a ten-minute court hearing, on condition that this is chaired by an honest judge,” stated Adrian Balan.

He noted that this wasn’t meant to be and some banal things turned into a mega-epopee owing to two factors – the sociopathic mania of Efrosinia Guzun to control, subdue, intimidate regardless of the situation, and the mega-corrupt system from which she profits by influence peddling, bribery and manipulation. He has evidence to substantiate his statements.

According to Adrian Balan, the Guzun couple accuses him of being a swindle who profited from their kindness. But before the conflict, he was a partner and co-founder of the lyceum. “I say this now that they moved from the caste of ignored contrabandists to the Moldovan elite,” said Adrian Balan, noting he went through an ordeal during two years. He lost his family, went through trials that he lost even if he had incontestable proofs. He was threatened to be beaten and even killed by lawyer Ion Dorogoi for the simple reason that he posted several stories about these illegalities on Facebook.

Lawyer Cristina Doga said that this is an unprecedented case in the justice system. They will go to the European Court of Human Rights with this case. “And the Republic of Moldova will be convicted for these illegalities committed by the Prosecutor’s Office and courts of law, in cooperation with Guzun family trough the agency of clients of the school. I think the state is now not ready to assume responsibility and pay damages to Balan Adrian based on ECHR judgments. Measures should be therefore taken at the national level and an institution should examine this case,” said the lawyer.
