The former Gulliver café situated in the Chisinau Park “Valea Morilor” was leased out for an annual rent of 2 million lei at a contest, IPN reports.

The lessee will be able to perform there only kinds of activities that are compatible with the management of spaces in green areas. This will cover the costs associated with the current and extensive repair of the place.

Mayor general Ion Ceban said the building was leased out for seven years and will not be privatized in the period.

“Some of the buildings that are left to go to rack and ruin for years are leased out on a contest basis and the money comes into the municipal budget,” stated the mayor.
