Former first deputy speaker voted for peace and reason

The Communist candidate Vladimir Turcan, who was named first deputy speaker of the Parliament after the April 5 elections, voted for peace in the country and for reason that is required of the voters in order to restore stability in Moldova and continue the initiated reforms, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I voted for stability in the country and in the political life. The launched reforms can be carried out and new reforms initiated only when there is political stability,” Vladimir Turcan said. He also said that he wants very much that a consensus is reached after the July 29 elections so that the next legislative body is functional. “I hope that the voters will make a reasonable choice and this objective will be achieved,” Turcan added.
