The former head of the Buiucani Police Inspectorate Lilian Pascaru, who is investigated in a criminal case started over filing of a fraudulent tax return, was summoned to go to the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office for being questioned. The summons was handed over to him after the searches carried out at his home were completed.

Contacted by IPN for a comment, Mariana Cherpec, press officer of the Prosecutor General’s Office, said Lilian Pascaru is to present himself at the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office for being familiarized with the accusations. This morning’s searches were conducted with the aim of collecting evidence.
