Vladimir Baldovici, former director of the Public Property Agency, has been charged today by anti-corruption prosecutors with abuse of office and tampering with public records, IPN reports.
According to prosecutors, in October 2018 – January 2019 Baldovici colluded with the caretaker manager of a government-owned company to fraudulently discard assets worth 32 million lei. A number of other functionaries are believed to be involved as well.
