Foreign scholarships for Moldovan students
Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Poland and Bulgaria are offering scholarships to Moldovan students for the academic year 2012 – 2013.
Russia offers three scholarships at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). Applications must be submitted to the Moldovan Education Ministry's International Relations Division until June 3. The tests include Russian Language and Foreign Language, and also Math for those applying for the International Economic Relations specialty.
Ukraine offers 105 university scholarships, including 94 reserved for ethnic Ukrainians living in Moldova, plus 3 doctoral scholarships. Applications must be submitted to the Education Ministry until May 25. Tests include Ukrainian Language and Literature.
In Hungary, the scholarships are offered by the Avicenna International College, with the courses being provided in English. The scholarships are in the areas of medicine, technology and business studies. More details are available at www.avicenna.hu
