Foreign Policy Association has a new administration

Vasile Nedelciuc was named president of the Foreign Policy Association for a three-year term, while Nicu Popescu – vice president, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Association. Eight new members were accepted at the Association's general assembly on April 22. These are: Andrei Popov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Eugen Revenko, the head of the Foreign Ministry's international law department, Igor Corman, the chairman of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy, Eugen Carpov, former Ambassador of Moldova to the EU, Liliana Vitu-Esanu, the head of the news department of TV- Moldova 1, Nicu Popescu and Stela Mocanu, advisers to the Prime Minister. The general assembly also elected the new members of the Administration Board. It will include: Ion Sturza, who had been the president of the Foreign Policy Association until recently, Vasile Nedelciuc, Oazu Nantoi, Andrei Popov, Stefan Gorda, Anatol Taranu, Nicu Popescu and Liliana Vitu-Esanu.
