Foreign minister of Turkey to visit Moldova Nov. 18

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will pay a visit to Chisinau on November 18, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

The program of the visit includes a meeting with his Moldovan counterpart Nicu Popescu, President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu.

The discussions of the national delegations will center on the methods of strengthening the Moldova-Turkey partnership, especially at commercial, economic and investment levels.

Also, on the occasion of the Turkish official’s visit, there will be signed the plan of consultations between between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two states for 2022 – 2023. The signing ceremony will be held at 12:25pm and will be followed by statements for the press.
