Foreign Minister met with moldovans morking and living in Japan

"Our citizens remain connected to the realities of the Republic of Moldova and closely follow events back home, even though they are thousands of kilometers away". This observation was made by Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi, who met with a group of moldovan citizens working and residing in Japan during his visit to Tokyo.

In a Facebook post cited by IPN, Mihai Popsoi shared that he was convinced that Moldovans, regardless of their field - whether they are students, teachers, researchers, IT specialists, or professionals in creative industries - know how to integrate, establish themselves professionally, and earn the respect of their host communities.

The topic of validating the referendum on joining the European Union was also discussed during the meeting.

"One Moldovan, Ludmila Vizdoaga, set a true example of civic duty by traveling 1,300 kilometers from South Korea, where she resides, to vote at our embassy in Japan", wrote Mihai Popsoi.

Mihai Popsoi is on a working visit to Japan from november 12-13.
