A number of foreign delegations are paying visits to Transnistria at the invitation of the Transnistrian administration that celebrates the so-called ‘day of the republic’ on September 2, IPN reports.

According to “Novostipmr” Agency, a delegation consisting of Russian MPs and representatives of Russian businesses is already in Tiraspol. Guests are also expected to come from Abkhazia, Gagauzia, Mountainous Karabakh, and Ukraine.

The program includes a military parade and laying of flowers to monuments. The museums are staging the Open Doors Day. A number of theatrical events, concerts and contests for children will take place in the center of Tiraspol. The movie theater “Tiraspol” will show animated cartoons to children gratis.

The foreign invitees to the evening concert include the Turetsky Choir and singer Valery Meladze from Russia. The concert will end with the fireworks.
