The bailiffs will have the opportunity to access freely the state registries through the communication systems of the public administration authorities, while on duty, Info-Prim Neo reports. The government endorsed addenda to article 25 of the Executing Code of Moldova and article 14 of the Law on forced execution. Thus, the court officers will be able to access the databases of the Ministry of Informational Development, the Cadaster state company, the Registry state company, the State Tax Inspectorate and other registries in order to establish the debtor’s assets, that could be traded to discharge debts, as well as its whereabouts and quarters. At present, in fulfilling the actions of forced execution, the court officers appeal to state registers on the basis of bilateral cooperation agreements, signed between the Executing Department and the mentioned institutions. But, in the practical accomplishment of the agreements, pauses may intervene. These addenda to legislation will exclude these aspects and the bailiffs will be quickly provided with the necessary information.
