Football season for juniors teams opens
Football events will take place one after another this week. The juniors teams led by young coaches will continue competing in qualifiers and playing preparatory matches. The Under-19 national team coached by Vlad Goian will play two friendly matches with Romanian’s national team. The matches will take place on August 18, starting at 18.00, in Targul Neamt (Romania), and on August 20, starting at 18.00, at the Orhei Sports Complex (Moldova).

The Under-17 team coached by Sergiu Clescenco will participate in the international tournament Lithuanian Football Federation Cup between August 19 and 24. Former journalist Sergiu Caraman, who was recently named as head coach of Moldova’s Under-16 national team and is famous for the results achieved with Sfantul Gheorghe team (Suruceni), will accompany his students at the Pskov International Tournament in Russia during August 18-22.
