As many as 100 girls took part in a Football Festival in Chisinau on September 29. The event formed part of the FIFA Women’s Football Development Program.

According to the Moldovan Football Federation, the participants represented sports schools of Balti, Edinet, Macaresti, Anenii Noi, Drasliceni, Magdacesti, Cahul, Slobozia, Dubasari, and Chisinau.

The Moldovan Football Federation said such events that are aimed at promoting and popularizing women’s football will be staged in other settlements of the country too.
