Ilie Cebanu, the son of the president of the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF) had a good start in the championship of Russia. The 26-year-old goalkeeper helped Tom Tomsk to draw 0-0 with one of the competition leaders Lokomotiv Moscow away, IPN reports.
Cebanu replaced the rightful goalkeeper, Montenegrin international Mladen Bozovic, who was sidelined by an injury. He also has chances to play the next game against Zenit and to defend the national team’s colors in the matches against San Marino and Montenegro on October 11 and October 15.
Ilie Cebanu plays for Rubin Kazan, but was lent to Tom Tomsk, which includes Moldovan striker Eugen Sidorenco. In his career, the son of the president of the Moldovan Football Federation Pavel Cebanu played in the championships of Austria and Poland and became champion with Wisla Krakow.
