The immunization against flu begins next week. The 200,000 flu shots that are expected to reach the Republic of Moldova are intended mainly for risk categories, including persons who come into contact with groups of people, such as doctors, teachers, educators and people involved in trading.

In the December 7 meeting of the Cabinet, Minister of Health Ruxanda Glavan said the number of cases of flu didn’t exceed the epidemiological level and the situation is under control.

At the start of this week, the Chisinau Health Division’s head Mihai Moldovanu said there were reported the first six cases of flu this year, five of which in Chisinau.
