Flower market from Decebal Blvd. to be relocated

The flower market situated on Decebal Blvd., at the intersection with Dacia Blvd. in Botanica district, will be relocated by the end of this year. It will be moved down the same street. Deputy head of Botanica district Boris Prepelita Monday said the market’s authorization expires at end-November, IPN reports.

Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that the market hasn’t been related yet and instructed the district head’s office to solve the problem as soon as possible.

The mayor also asked the General Division of Trade to examine the situation of the flower market and the electronic devices market situated near “Calea Basarabiei” Market. The two markets do not have authorizations for work and illegally pay taxes to the administration of “Calea Basarabiei” Market so as to be able to work.

Dorin Chirtoaca said the sellers there may work based on patents or may form associations and rent the plots.
