Moldova’s European road depends on political stability, co-chairman of the Joint Commission for European Integration between the Parliament of Romania and the Parliament of Moldova Florin Constantinescu said in the talk show “Emphasis on today” on TVR Moldova channel, IPN reports.
According to the Romanian senator, political stability was ensured in Chisinau. “This political stability, on which they worked a lot, must be maintained and I think it will be kept until the next parliamentary elections. The Government must work intensely. If the people feel that they live well, stability will be maintained,” stated Florin Constantinescu.
He considers that the Republic of Moldova returned to the correct path. “Many good things were done lately. Some 68% of the roadmap was implemented and we were assured that it will be fully carried out. We recommended the colleagues from Chisinau not to repeat the mistakes made earlier by Romania. I called on them to learn from our mistakes,” said the Romanian politician.
Florin Constantinescu noted that the first tranche of the €150 million promised by the Government of Romania to Moldova could be disbursed after the arrival of the IMF mission that is expected to come to Chisinau at the beginning of next month.
