Flood victims to receive additional financial assistance

The persons whose houses were destroyed as a result of floods will be provided additional financial assistance from the account opened to collect money for flood victims, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Under a Government Decision, 33,000 lei will be allocated to the Briceni district council, 9,000 lei to the Cantemir district council, 1.23 million lei to the Hancesti district council, 5,500 lei to the Nisporeni district council, and 83,500 lei to the Ungheni district council.
A person will receive additionally by a lump sum of 500 lei.
The executive also allotted 34,000 lei for 68 persons from Hancesti and Edinet districts who remained without homes, but did not receive financial support at the first stage. 33,500 lei will be given to the Hancesti district council, while 500 lei to the Edinet district council
Minister of Finance Veacesla Negruta said the local public authorities are responsible for the compilation of the lists and distribution of the money.
