The plane to Sofia took off from Chisinau with a delay of about 10 hours on Wednesday owing to the fog, Info-Prim Neo reports. Tamara Ceban, call center operator at the Chisinau International Airport, said a number of flights were delayed because of poor visibility, including to Bucharest, Moscow and Milan. The Chisinau–Sofia flight was to take off at 09.50, but departed only at 18.02. The passengers who were to return by this flight from Bulgaria have been waiting in the airport in Sofia since 10.00 (Moldova’s time).
