The dense fog that fell last evening affected the schedule of flights at the Chisinau International Airport. Flights were delayed and cancelled. A Paris-Chisinau flight had to fly 13 circles above Moldova before landing, IPN reports.

The Istanbul/Ataturk – Chisinau flight that was to land at 8:30pm was cancelled, as was the Chisinau - Istanbul/Ataturk flight of 9:25pm. Though it was to arrive in Chisinau at 8:50pm on March 9, the plane from Kiev/Boryspil INTL is still late and is expected to land at 7:40am.

The plane that flies to Moscow/Sheremetyevo, which was to land at 00:40am, will arrive in Chisinau at 10:00am today. The plane from Moscow/Domodedovo that was to land at 00.40am arrived at 02:11am. The flight from Larnaca was redirected to the Otopeni Airport of Bucharest. It was to arrive in Chisinau at 00:40am, but will now land at 10:05am.

The plane from Bucharest that was planned to land at 10:45pm, was rescheduled for 11:35pm, but was then annulled. The Bucharest-Chisinau flight of 10:20pm is expected to arrive at 08:35am. The Chisinau-Bucharest flight of 05:45am was cancelled.
