Some of the flights at the Chisinau International Airport take off with delay, while others were cancelled owing to the elements, IPN reports.

The 10am flight to Moscow was cancelled, while the plane that was to take off at 11:30am will leave at 8:20pm.

The 12 noon flight to Kyiv is to take off with a delay of over four hours. The plane to Bologna, which could not take off at 9:20am, is expected to leave at midday.

The 10:10am flight to Istanbul and the 12:35pm flight to Munich were cancelled.
