The Ministry of Health suspended from posts five of the 16 suspects in the case of the arranged tender contests in the health sector following approaches made by prosecutors, IPN reports.
The following persons will be suspended from posts for the period of the investigation: director of the National Clinical Hospital, ex-health minister Andrei Usatyi; director of the Cardiology Institute Vitalie Moscalu; director of the National Emergency Medicine Center Gheorghe Ciobanu; director of the Oncology Institute Victor Cernat, and vice director of the Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices Alexandru Spanu.
The prosecutors will also demand suspending other suspects in this case from posts, according to the procedure.
