Five persons were named to the post of deputy minister in charge of different areas in the March 2 sitting of the Cabinet. Thus, career diplomats Daniela Morari and Lilian Darii, who worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during many years and also at Moldova’s embassies abroad, were appointed as deputy ministers for foreign affairs and European integration, IPN reports.
Iurie Usurelu and Vasile Luca became deputy ministers of agriculture and food industry. The two held managerial posts in the agricultural sector. As an oenologist, Vasile Luca formed part of the jury of different international wine contests. In 2015, he was named Best Winemaker of the Year.
In the same meeting, the Cabinet decided to appoint Iulian Postica as deputy minister of information and communication technology.
