Five persons vie for post of director general of Moldova’s Railways

Five persons have applied for the post of director general of Moldova’s Railways. The post fell vacant after the former administrator of the company Andrei Domascan was dismissed by Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Vasile Botnari, IPN reports.

The five candidates are: Ion Popescu, Ion Carstea, Eugeniu Baleca, Natalia Lipskaya, and Valentin Dogotari. They will be informed about the date when they will have an interview later.

Andrei Domascan was discharged on February 11 because he didn’t make sure that the tasks set for implementing the reform at the company are carried out on time.
