Two young men died in a traffic accident in Gratiesti village of the municipality of Chisinau last night. Tudor Capatana, spokesman for the General Police Commissariat, has told Info-Prim Neo that two motorcycles collided on Stephan the Great street in the center of the commune at 00.30. The drivers of the motorcycles aged 19 and, respectively, 25 died on the spot. A passenger aged 23 was rushed to the Emergency Hospital with different traumas. Another tragedy occurred on the Chisinau-Nisporeni route, between Dolna and Lozova villages of Straseni district, at 18.00 on Sunday. A bus running on the Chisinau-Seliste route crashed into a cart that did not have reflectors. The 35-year-old driver of the cart and his son aged 10 died at the place of the accident. A minibus running on the Chisinau-Edinet route struck a 47-year-old woman from Seliste village near the Wine House in Orhei town. Nine road accidents happened in Moldova yesterday and last night. They resulted in five deaths and seven persons injured.
