Five political parties decided to create the Political Movement “Union”. These are the Democracy at Home Party, the Liberal Party, the National Liberal Party, the Romanian People’s Party and the Save Bessarabia Union, IPN reports.

Representatives of the five parties issued an announcement saying the political project is to be formalized next week. “We further call on the other political parties to show openness for the consolidation and unification of the unionist political current so as to reintegrate the Romanian nation,” reads the announcement.

The signatory parties plead for the founding of a unionist movement, a political bloc that would work permanently, since it is created and until the union is accomplished, becoming thus a rightful successor of the National Liberation Movement.
