Three nursery schools located in Vulcanesti district stopped work on a temporary basis on March 6 in order to prevent the spread of the flu among the children. Another nursery from Ocnita district and a lyceum from the same district were also closed until March 9, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry of Education, the 12 education institutions closed on March 3 haven’t yet resumed work. A relevant decision will be taken on March 9.

The number of clinical cases of flu has increased to 1,029.
