Five Moldovan teams played in Turkey yesterday
The Turkish shore witnessed a Moldovan matchday as five Moldovan clubs played friendly games on Monday, February 6, in their training camps in Antalya, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Only CSCA-Rapid Ghidighici managed to win. Sergiu Secu’s team bested Belarus’ FC Minks 1-0, thanks to a Vadim Cracimari goal. On Tuesday, February 7, the team will take on the Kazakhs of Okjetpes.
Moldovan champions Dacia Chisinau were defeated by Belarusian outfit FC BATE, score 2-3. The Yellow Wolves’ goals were scored by Brazilian Celio and Dumitru Popovici. Their next friendly is scheduled on February 8, against Zeta Montenegro.
Zimbru Chisinau were thrashed 0-4 by Dinamo Bucharest in the Taurus Cup. The Yellow Greens will play for third place on February 8, against FC Buducnost Montenegro.
FC Costuleni suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Lechia Gdansk from Poland, score 1-4. The Moldovans’ goal was scored by Veaceslav Sofroni. The national division bottom side will play another friendly against Romania’s Universitatea Cluj on February 8.
Academia UTM Chisinau drew 0-0 with Nasaf Uzbekistan. The Students’ next friendly is scheduled for February 8 against Zarea Lugansk of Ukraine.
