The Government decided to allocate 110 million lei for renovating six education institutions this year. These include the lyceums in Iargara town of Leova district, Gotesti commune of Cantemir district, Costesti town of Rascani district, Sipoteni village of Calarasi district and in Salcuta village of Causeni district and the secondary school of Varzaresti commune of Nisporeni district, IPN reports.

The necessary financial resources were earmarked through the 2017 state budget law from the loan raised from the World Bank within the Moldova Education Reform Project.

The project has been implemented in Moldova since 2013 and will be completed in 2018. It has a budget of US$ 40 million.
