President Nicolae Timofti on April 23 signed presidential decrees to discharge five judges from posts. According to a communiqué from the presidential press service, the judges were dismissed in accordance with the Law on the Status of Judge, IPN reports.

Based on the submitted resignations, there were discharged the following judges:
Mihail Buruian, of the Chisinau Appeals Court, Tudor Culava, of the Straseni Court, Ludmila Curca, of the Cimislia Court, Andrei Negurita, of the Stefan Voda Court, and Gheorghe Ursan, of the Telenesti Court.
