The Ambassadors for the Eastern Partnership from five European countries (France, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden and Hungary), who are in Chisinau on a visit, reiterated their support for the European course of Moldova, underlining the importance of communicating the advantages of the Association Agreement to the people, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, in a meeting with Foreign Minister Natalia Gherman, the European diplomats discussed the development prospects of the Eastern Partnership until the Riga Summit of 2015. In order to support the actions taken by the Government of Moldova, the European ambassadors will travel to the northern and southern regions of the country to meet with representatives of the local public authorities and civil society and with students from Balti and Comrat.

The Ambassadors for the Eastern Partnership are paying a working visit to Moldova on February 26-28.
