Five competitors abandoned the national Eurovision 2010 Song Contest as they do not manage to keep to the rehearsal and concert schedule. These are: Victoria Mahu, Sun Stroke, Olea Tira, Alex White and Ionel Istrati. 2010 Song Contest, Info-Prim Neo reports. The five contestants will be replaced by Constantinova & Fusu – The Robbery; JJ Jazz – So many questions; Veronica Lupu – Poza ta; Vitalie Toderascu – Ti-aduci aminte; Dana Marchitan – Day and Night, the public television channel says in a communique. By 15 contenders will compete in the two national semifinals of the contest on February 27 and February 28. Fourteen singers will go through to the March 6 final, by seven from each semifinal.
