“Termoelectrica” is promoting a new heating system in the municipality of Chisinau. The system supplies heat horizontally and hot water nonstop and regulates the temperature of heat. Each apartment will have an individual meter. A partnership contract to this effect was recently signed by the administration of “Termoelectrica” and the Association of Condominium Co-Owners ACC 51/417. According to the company, five apartment buildings will be initially connected to the new centralized hearing system, IPN reports.
“Termoelectrica” undertook to work out the technical execution project, to carry out the works to design, assembly and put into operation five individual thermal points for heating and supplying hot water to the five buildings and to install heat meters. The association of dwellers will be responsible for the rehabilitation of the internal horizontal supply systems and the installation of hot water meters.
The dwellers will enjoy the benefits of an autonomous heating system without being exposed to dangers of explosion, contamination with noxious substances and additional costs associated with the technical service of individual thermal centers. These will no longer depend on neighbors as they will have an individual contract directly with the company and will be able to individually connect the heating system when they need, without facing the risk of being disconnected from the supply of heat because of non-payment of the consumed heat or illegal use of heat by other dwellers.
A similar project was earlier implemented in several apartment buildings in Chisinau. Calculations show the heat bills are by about 34% lower in the case of the horizontal system, compared with the vertical one.
