More than 2,000 video lessons were produced and stored in the digital library during the first stage of the Online Education Project. These include video lessons for training for secondary school exams and Baccalaureate exams and also open educational resources and digital textbooks, mayor general of Chisinau Ion Ceban posted on Facebook.

The platform educatieonline.md consists of such sections as Parent Assistance/Personal Development and the Psychologists’ Advice, Personal Development Lessons for Students and Parents, Lessons on security and other video lessons that supplement the education process, IPN reports.

The platform during the past week registered 73,000 users and approximately 180,000 sessions staged by platform users. 

For the second stage, it is proposed that the library should be supplemented with the same number of lessons as during the first stage. There will be about 4,500 video lessons in total. In this regard, the municipality aims to sign a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, which would enable to improve the platform.
