The Democratic Party will top the ballot for the parliamentary elections of February 24, 2019 according to the preliminary order. The decision was taken as a result of a draw that involved the parties that submitted the documents required for being registered as contenders in the elections on December 26, IPN reports.
The electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS will be second on the ballot, the Party of Communists – third, while the Party of Socialists fourth.
Applications started to be filed on December 26 and the draw for deciding the preliminary order on the ballot was held at 5pm. Representatives of the parties extracted numbers according to the order in which their parties submitted the required documents to the CEC.
