The Central Election Commission Friday accredited the European Academy of Civil Society and the Association “First Club of the Council of Europe” as monitors for the September 5 constitutional referendum, Info-Prim Neo reports. Eight monitors represent the Academy, while five monitors – the Association. CEC secretary Iurie Ciocan said the two organizations have nothing in common with the Council of Europe. According to their statutes, they defend the human rights and promote the democratic values.
