First meeting of Supreme Security Council to examine banking frauds

In the first meeting in the new competition, the Supreme Security Council will examine the frauds committed in the financial-banking sector. President Igor Dodon on January 2 called a working meeting with officials in charge from the presidential staff. The date of the Council’s meeting hasn’t been yet set, IPN reports.

Igor Dodon requested to present information and all the correspondence concerning the actions taken by the Supreme Security Council, the National Bank of Moldova, the Government, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Security and Intelligence Service and the National Anticorruption Center with the aim of preventing and stopping the banking frauds starting with 2011 up to now.
