The First Lady took presents to children of the Orhei boarding school for boys with mental disabilities. Margareta Timofti paid a visit to the boarding school, where the boys presented a mini-play and a performance of carols, IPN has learned from the presidential press service.
The First Lady discussed with all the children and the personnel and congratulated two students who became laureates of the International Singing Festival “Golden Apple”.
Members of the folkloric ensemble “Sowers” from Cucuruzeni village of Orhei district sang carols for the children.
There are 236 boys at the boarding school at present.
