First independent candidate on 14th place in ballot
Former Minister of Defense Valeriu Plesca Tuesday submitted the documents needed to be registered as an independent candidate in the November 28 early legislative elections to the Central Election Commission (CEC). He was preliminarily written on the 14th position in the ballot, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The CEC registers the candidates running in elections within seven days. The position in ballots is definitive after the election contenders are registered by the Commission.
Twenty-eight persons asked for subscription lists for running as independents. So far, the CEC has registered 12 parties. The 13th party – the PLDM – filed the documents on October 11.
