First freight train through Transnistria will set off on April 26
The first freight train that will go via the Transnistrian region will depart from Rybnitsa on April 26. This topic was discussed by Prime Minister Vlad Filat and the Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk over the phone, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Government’s press service.
The Premier approved of the cooperation established for ensuring the free movement of people between the two banks of the Nistru during the Easter holidays, saying the people were able to freely cross the river.
Vlad Filat and Yevgeny Shevchuk signed an agreement on the resumption of rail traffic through Transnistria, which was stopped in 2006, in Tiraspol on March 30.
