The first dolphinarium in the Republic of Moldova will be opened inside the Athletics Arena in two days. Initially, the visitors will be able to see four dolphins and two seals brought from the dolphinarium “Nemo Odessa” of Ukraine, IPN reports.
Administrator of the dolphinarium “Nemo Moldova” Adrian Focsa told a news conference that the dolphins and seals are very developed mammals. The opening of the dolphinarium was coordinated with all the competent institutions and all the international norms were respected in this process.
“We created all the conditions needed for maintaining the dolphins and for them to be comfortable. We are very glad that our network of dolphinarium is being extended,” said Polina Makarova, the representative of the dolphinarium “Nemo Odessa”.
Tickets cost 230 lei, while for children younger than five entrance is free. Shows will be presented three times a day – at 12 noon, 3pm and 6pm. Those who want to see a nocturnal show can go to the Athletics Arena on Fridays and Saturdays at 9pm. Tickets to the nocturnal show cost 300 lei.
