The first deadline for paying the property tax expires in a week. The head of the Chisinau Local Taxes Collection Division Gheorghe Gasnas said the collected amounts now reached 70% of the projected sums, IPN reports.

The property tax can be paid in equal installments by August 15 and, respectively, October 15. If the tax is not paid by the two deadlines, the taxpayers pay a penalty of 0.07% for each day of delay.
