The first session of the Chicu government was canceled. The meeting was scheduled for November 15, 08:00, and was announced yesterday, immediately after the oath of office ceremony.

The government's Communications and Protocol Directorate announced this morning via notice that the meeting was canceled. Neither the reasons nor the rescheduled date were provided.

On Thursday, November 14, the Parliament granted a confident vote to the cabinet of ministers led by Ion Chicu and his activity program. The new government was supported by the vote of 62 PSRM and PD MPs. The ACUM bloc MPs left the chamber before the voting procedure commenced. Shortly, the new ministers took the oath of office at the Presidency.
