First 44 ambulances of those bought from Turkey delivered

Moldova started to receive the first ambulances (44) of the 122 B and C ambulances purchased from Turkey. These will be distributed to the National Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance Center, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the new ambulances are outfitted with modern medical equipment. The tender contest for buying the ambulances was held as part of the framework lending agreement between Moldova and the Council of Europe Development Bank.

The ambulances were purchased from the nonresident economic operator “DAS Ozel Saglik Ambulance” (Turkey). The total value of the first consignment is €2,665.428.

The other 122 ambulances will be delivered in stages.
