First 12 parties find out positions in ballots

The National Liberal Party (PNL) will be the first in the ballots for the November 28 early legislative elections. The order was decided by draw on October 4, when 12 parties submitted applications to be registered as participants in elections to the Central Election Commission (CEC), Info-Prim Neo reports. The Democratic Party comes second. It is followed by the Liberal Party, the Christian-Democratic People’s Party, the European Action Movement, Moldova’s Patriots, the Party for Country and People, and the Republican Party. The Moldova Noastra Alliance will be the tenth, while the Humanist Party - the 11th. The Communists Party will occupy the 12th position. CEC secretary Iurie Ciocan said the documents filed by the parties will be examined by the commission within seven days. If one of the parties presented not all the documents, its place in the ballot will be taken by the next party. The CEC will hold draws daily if more than two parties or independent candidates submit applications between 9:00 and 16:00.
